Street Food Thursday – Extra Helpings

It’s the final Street Food Thursday of 2019 next week, on 19th December, and to sign our Thursday markets off for another year, we wanted to raise money towards vital work supporting Bristol’s homeless community.  On Thurs 19th December, £1 from every dish sold at The Harbourside Market will be donated to The Julian Trust.

The Julian Trust run an emergency night shelter in central Bristol, providing much-need beds and meals for homeless people in the city, and at this time of year their work is more vital than ever.

As usual, the Market will have a global line up of Bristol’s street food favourites, trading at the top of the Cascade Steps, and for good festive measure, the Market bar will be offering up mulled Somerset ciders (proceeds also to be donated) and supplying a lunchtime soundtrack of Christmas classics.

Patrick Holden, Director of Buoy Events says: “Running street food events in the city, we see first-hand the effects of homelessness in Bristol, so the whole team and our traders feel passionate about supporting organisations like The Julian Trust at this crucial time of year.”

Hope to see you on the quay.

Street Food Thursday takes place every Thursday at The Harbourside Market from 12-2.30pm and you can find more information here
