WE ARE HIRING! PART TIME BAR STAFF

We’re on the lookout for brilliant staff to join the bar team at our main home, The Harbourside Market. The role would suit several people looking to be offered occasional, optional weekend bar shifts that can be picked up around other commitments.

The Harbourside Market is at an outdoor street food event in Bristol City Centre, which runs on weekends, from 9am until 5pm.

We believe in investing in our staff and compensating the team appropriately.  We offer better than living wage terms (£10.50 p/hour), alongside flexible working, holiday pay, and pension contributions.

Who we are: Buoy is an events production team, specialising in street food markets, private and seasonal street food events.

The ideal applicant will have:

• An interest in and experience of working with food, drink, markets, or events;A passion for keeping things local, independent, and sustainable, and the vision to celebrate bringing the three together;Strong interpersonal skills: a great communicator, with the ability to participate in a small team, impeccable customer service skills, a calm head, and the ability to make independent decisions at times;An understanding of the importance of maintaining health and safety standards, and an ability to identify new or unexpected risks and tackle them. A proven ability to thrive in an unpredictable working environment, multitasking and problem-solving as the unexpected unfolds

Responsibilities Include:

• Day to day operational involvement of the market bar; including set-up; building and breaking the bar;Serving drinks; Operating as the first point of contact for customers, traders, and the public;Working within the site team, building positive, functional relationships with members of staff in role.

DAYTIME SHIFTS, HOLIDAY PAY AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE ROLE TO GROW.  RATE: £10.50 P/H
